About the #RespectStartsHere Campaign
As the world watched the election results in the USA - so many of us reflected on the importance of leadership and respect. Many, many, many of us want to live in a world where there is more respect - and we want to see our political leaders to model that respect. The Van Jones quote above says what so many of us feel - how can we teach our kids about respect when our political leaders are not respectful in their interactions with each other and in their behaviour and policies?
The #RespectStartsHere campaign calls for ALL political leaders around the world to model respect for the week before World Kindness Day (13th November). And we are asking community members to call politicians to account for respectful leadership (or maybe your local politician is respectful and you want to thank them). Here are some of the ways to participate:

Here are some of the ways to participate:
- Political leaders: make a commitment to be respectful for the week before World Kindness Day on 13th November and show your commitment by sharing our social media icons (below) and your commitment
- Community members: write to your local politicians and ask them to join the campaign and share our social media icons (below) and please share responses to the Kindness Pandemic Facebook Group
- Graphic designers, artists and makers: please share your own campaign messages and then tell us about them through our Kindness Pandemic Facebook Group or contact details below.

You can use the social media call outs below and please share responses with us on your social media platforms and in the Kindness Pandemic Facebook group.
