About the Kindness Pandemic
The Kindness Pandemic promotes acts of intersectional kindness - or kindness for people doing it tough. Its about recognising that even the simplest acts of kindness for people who are doing it tough can transform their lives and experiences – and the experiences of people who do these acts of kindness as well.
The Kindness Pandemic has over 570,000 members, 60+ local Kindness Pandemic groups, over 30 kindness campaigns and been featured in over 100 media articles including Marie Claire and CNN. A year since after the Kindness Pandemic was established, the Facebook group still has over 550,000 members, who stayed with the group because they love hearing about acts of kindness. So many of us want to live in a world where people look out for each other and feel connected.

K is for Kindness - intersectional kindness curriculum
With lockdowns all around the world, many adults are trying to teach children at home and are looking for creative curriculum ideas. We have developed a fun activity called K is for Kindness, for students to learn more about intersectional kindness by spreading it in their neighbourhood. You can download the K is for Kindness guide sheets below.

They say if you love what you do then you never work a day in your life. Today this gorgeous little man and I had the most beautiful conversations about being kind, what kindness looks like and how we can be kind to those around us. We created a beautiful chalk drawing to show his neighbours he cares, he picked a flower for me to make me smile because I’m his words “making someone smile is kind” and he drew a picture to give to his therapist who was coming soon. Kindness is simple, anyone can show it |
