Be part of our team

The Kindness Pandemic is made possible by a wonderful team of volunteers. We all love what we do and we know that what we do is changing lives. If you would like to be part of our team of volunteers people please check the details below and contact us if you have any questions or suggestions. 

We are using a powerful and simple volunteer platform called Be Collective, that allows us to spread the word about volunteering opportunities and measure social impact. It also enables volunteers to build a verified social record of volunteering. It's simple to use.

Its simple and the benefits of the Be Collective platform are that you can ave your hours recorded and verified by admin if you choose. This may be useful for people who want to add their volunteering to their CV - you can generate a professional resume with the click of a button. 

Current Volunteer Opportunities

These are our current volunteer opportunities. All volunteer roles have inbuilt flexibility and can be undertaken remotely with flexible hours and capacity to share the positions. 
Graphic designers and artists
​We are looking for applicants with access to graphic design tools to help us craft beautiful web and social media content to promote for our regular campaigns. Developing a consistent and elegant design ethos and material for the Kindness Pandemic's online and social media presence to support regular campaigns. Our campaigns change every 1-2 weeks.

Survey coordinator and admin
​We are looking for an applicant who have access to survey infrastructure that would enable large scale surveying and data analysis. Ideally this opportunity would suit an employee of a firm who naturally carries out work in the area of Market Research or Survey Campaign Management.

Previous Volunteer Opportunities 

Change champions - families campaign
For many families, the changes that have accompanied COVID19 require significant adjustments.  Some family members are now working from home, others have lost employment and there are children who are home schooling for the first time. Our Kindness in Families Campaign aims to support families working through some of these challenges. The Family Campaign Champion's role involves building engagement with the Kindness Pandemic's Family Campaign and includes:​ disseminating information about the Campaign; supporting community members to understand the importance of the Campaign; and engaging community members in active participation in the Campaign​

Change Champions - Schools Campaign
Schools Campaign Champions play a pivotal role in helping the community understand and appreciate how hard teachers and other school staff are working during COVID19. Activities include: raising awareness amongst school staff of the opportunity to document their experiences in a confidential survey and encouraging family members and the broader community to share messages of support for school staff. The role is 100% flexible - no min hours or delivery times.

Artists for Equality (E-Commerce Coordinator)
​We are looking for someone to set up a Red Bubble store (or similar) for artists to distribute art that promotes equality by building empathy and encouraging acts of kindness for those who are marginalised. The art could be promoted through the Kindness Pandemic for sale (eg: art merchandise) that generates income for artists who are struggling financially because of COVID-19.
