About #TransStrong

The #TransStrong campaign aims to build the strength of Trans and Gender Diverse people and their families, parents and carers. While reforms are (slowly) taking place - we want to create a library of stories of strong, to give hope to people who are struggling with the transphobic debates.

We are inviting TGD people and their families, parents and carers to share stories about what strong means to you and how you found your strong.

These stories of strong are an act of resistance. This campaign does not absolve transphobes of responsibility for their actions, rather we say: TGD people and their families, parents and carers are not waiting for your enlightenment, we are living our best possible lives now.

How to participate

How we can help

  1. Share a story about what strong means to you as a TGD person or as a family member, parent or carer - and how you found your strong
  2. Use words to tell your story - or an image
  3. Post to Kindness Pandemic with #TransStrong
  4. Download the project flyer here and share
  5. Set up your own #TransStrong network
  6. Or email us.
  1. Call Catherine or Merrin to tell your story, we can document it for you and send it to you to check, or
