Make Kindness Stick

So many people have responded to the devastation of COVID10 with acts of kindness that are transforming lives. People who receive acts of kindness are benefitting - and so too are those who undertake these acts of kindness. The focus on kindness right now is emphasising how important it is and how so many of us want this kindness to be sustained. Kindness is building connections and communities and people are asking: how do we sustain this kindness?

#MakeKindnessStick Campaign

One of the ways to embed acts of kindness as a cultural value (to help make kindness stick) is to become aware of the acts of kindness that we want to keep doing - and to think about how we can make these actions a new habit. If every person in the world made a daily act of kindness - the world would be transformed.

So, the #MakeKindnessStick Campaign invites people from around the world to share an act of kindness they have done during COVID19 that they want to continue AND to tell us how they will do this. The steps are:
  1. Think about an act of kindness you have undertaken during COVID19 that you want to continue
  2. Write down what that act of kindness was
  3. Write down the steps you will take to make this a habit
  4. Tell us who you are (sign it)
  5. Post it to our Group with the hashtag #MakeKindnessStick

Templates

Thanks to artist Amelia for these wonderful templates. Some parents are printing these for their children and then sticking them to their fridge or bedroom door - if you do, please send us a photo. You are welcome to develop your own template.
